Summary Description

The primary responsibility of this position is the development, design, and implementation of solutions based on the Microsoft SharePoint API. This position requires a strong working knowledge of SharePoint best practices and development.  Developer will develop custom SharePoint extensions to create the solution necessary to satisfy BI and business requirements. Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills are required to succeed in this position.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

•             Interact with the business to gather requirements and specifications needed in development.

·                     Interact with internal BI developers

•             Custom master page development for distinct look and feel of SharePoint deliverables.

•             Custom web part development for extending SharePoint functionality.

•             Custom ASP.NET development for integration into SharePoint deliverables.

•             Deploy solutions to development and production environments for testing and delivery to the customer.

•             Verify that solutions meet business, functional, and technical specifications.

•             Participate in full integration testing.

•             Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

•             Bachelors Degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.

•             Minimum 2 years programming experience in SharePoint 2007.

·                     Minimum 4 years programming experience in .Net, including ASP.NET, web services, and portals.

•             Programming experience in SharePoint 2010.

•             Strong data analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

•             Cable/Telco industry experience.

•             Experience with SharePoint Business Data Catalog Services.

•             Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 BI suite.
